i just changed my mind on the burris rings due to some forums i have read about them. going to go seekins base and rings instead but need to know what height i can get away with and maintain a low profile w/ a super sniper scope.

See how many pennies/dimes you can stack between the top of the receiver, and the scope main tube.

Add .5906 (15mm/half of your scope main tube) to the thickness of your stack of pennies. This will be height of the center of your main tube.

Having that dimension on hand when you call Seekins will ensure they get the lowest rings they can for you.

Be sure to add a penny or two if you plan on using Butler Creek style objective covers.
