Anyone here with experience shooting any of the Seekins rifles, specifically the SPRO3G? I'm seriously considering one to run in the tac-lite PRS gas gun series. Seems like it would be a great option to just mount an optic, bipod, and be set.

I'm very interested in the SPR03G as well and considering picking up a complete upper if not a complete rifle. Not a lot of info out there -- this review from 2015 from TacticalLife - http://www.tactical-life.com/firearm...ision-spro3gl/ on the SPRO3GL (14.5" barrel model vs. the 18" on the SPR03G) seems to be the definitive review on the web.
The Seekins are definitely very well reviewed. I just picked up a SP10 in 6.5CM, in no small part due the feedback (and excellent CS) in this thread on the old site, in case this helps: http://www.scout.com/military/sniper...-sp10-308-ar-s

While I'm hijacking your thread, I called Seekins a bit ago to see if I could talk them into selling me just the SP10 308 upper -- no dice, but they said they're getting a lot of demand and MIGHT start offering it.

I have been running an SP3G for a few years in 3 gun matches and it works great. Accurate and the flat forend works great on obstacles. Very reliable as well. I don;t remember any sort of reliability issues when running it in 3 gun matches. I run mine with a Vortex Razor II 1-6x but you can easily out a higher powered optic on it. I have run my Razor II 3-18x on it as well.

I wouldn't be hesitant to purchase anything with the seekins name on it. Glen seekins CS on this forum is outstanding. (as you already mentioned)
In case anyone is interested, I have a new in box Seekins SPRO3G complete upper for sale. $800 shipped to lower 48
Build and finish is super clean. I've had one for a few months. I topped it with a vortex razor hd light hunter for coyote work. I just worked up a handloads with 64 grain berger varmint on top of varget, barrel node was grouping (5-shot) at 0.522 inch @ 100. I imagine that will tighten up once I tune the gas block for that load.
I previously shot 55 grain prime, grouped very very good. I tuned the gas block for that load. No freaking recoil. The muzzle report is the only way I knew it shot besides the spent case landing on shooting table.
Im happy as hell with this purchase. I like it over my MWS. Not sure anyone would regret buying one, depending what it's primary use is. I'm spying either a Havok or their 6.5 next...

As you can tell, my post count is next to nil. I've been a long time lurker, usually come here to read and learn something new. I've been hunting since age 5, in my mid 40's now. I'm pretty good shot, I figure. But compared to some members here, I've got a ways to go..ha! Hence I mostly read and absorb on this site. Something to aspire to..
Like I said, I'm not sure you can go wrong with a Seekins. It's more than suitable for my application--New Mexico coyote medicine. Before I retired from the military, I was in Quality Assurance, I fixed/troubleshot/rebuilt fighter jet engines (F-16, A-10, B-1, B-2, F-22...etc) before that. Now I inspect power plants for a living. Its pretty easy for me to pick things apart, flaws or anomalies. I can't find anything to fault the my SPRO3G. It's a nice gun that's well built.
I read that Glen recommends tuning the gas block for whatever load you're shooting supressed or unsupressed to increase accuracy. That is also stated in owners manual. When I first got it, I shot Prime 55gn through it with the gas block tuned just enough to lock back after the last round. It was like shooting a pellet gun. Recoil is almost non-existent. I shoot a lot of .308 and .25-06 so perhaps that has some bearing?
As accuracy goes, for me, I'm happy. I previously stated that I'm achieving (handloads) 5-shot groups of 0.522 inch. That's initial, I'm not done tweaking it, nor have I tuned the gas block for that specific round. I was only shooting that day to find the barrel node. Is that to say that's what this gun is only capable of? No! I think I'm a pretty damn good shot. But like I previously stated, there are members on here that can shoot circles around me.
I'm also a fan of the CMC Trigger. It's easy to engage and breaks clean, single stage. I grew up shooting model 70's, so this feels right. CMC is wider, comfortable and easy to get proper finger placement.
My setup, Vortex Razor HD Light Hunter 3-15x42 BDC Reticle, LaRue 1" Tube QD Mount and Tactical Link sling.

I ended up finding a SP3G (first generation before the current SPRO3G). Haven't shot it yet, but did get it painted.

I'm running low on targets. But I got a bunch of beer bottle caps. These were cold bore shots at a 100 yards. I was using my handloads--64 grain Berger FB Varmint Match and Varget.
