Rifle Scopes Seekins Torque Specs

Anyone know the torque specs for Seekins aluminum rings to a steel base and the spec for the caps?

If my rings came with any paperwork, I cant find it...

65 to the base and 15 on the caps

On the outside of box, mine says 55in/lb for the clamp and 15in/lb for the cap.

my box doesnt have anything printed on it.

can we get a consensus on 55 or 65 ?

appreciate that.

Any thoughts on the cap screws? why would Glenn give a definite figure for the clamp but then give a 10 in/lb range for the caps?

I torqued mine on my ST10 to 15 but should I go higher to 20 just to be sure. its on a .308

15 is fine, 20 is for insurance if you expect the scope to get some bumps. 308s aren't scope killers like some calibers.
