I have a problem with the implementation of the subject goal in that using 250 MK with 86.7 RL22 the powder sensitivity is about 2.56 fps per 0.1 grain and my most scales are +/- 0.1 reading which means there is a +/- 0.16 lack of confidence in the trio point. Cutting powder into smaller pieces does mot help and I as of yet have not tried my beam balance scale as I think its friction will be just as bad as the big RCBS scale problem I have. I get very repeatable results with the
scale by never turning it off and having special SS weights all filed and sanded to the exact weights I use and so stamped for ID. They are made for every load I use to eliminate scale drift but the 0.16 problem does have the different weights reading in that 0.1 statistical uncertainty. I have developed a Excel sheet to track cases response and it is promising and the PERL program will soon be up on my website CrossfireEngineering.com for free use in about a month it things lighten up a bit to do it.
