I try not to ask much for questions that are relatively easy to find the answers to, and so, for this seemingly simple question, I feel a bit silly to ask.
I have a new upper build that I'm working on, and I'm looking to get a barrel for the bad boy. Its going to run on an Armalite AR10 platform and it's not going to be a 6.5 Creed or .260 Rem
I love the Bartlein, Rock and Krieger barrels I've used before and have had great results with Shillen in my semi-auto AR15s, but I'm wondering what the best process would be for getting either a rough contoured blank set up for an Armalite, or would it be easier to just have the barrel maker do a custom chamber on it?
I already know that the gas port will need to be positioned for the Armalite which I believe is 3/16th longer.
Any suggestions. It's a slight wild cat that I don't wanna let to many details out about, but should be great fun.
