Advice for 7.5 inch 5.56 barrel: my buddy is running a 10 inch monocore supressor on his 7.5 inch 5.56 upper and i told him it probably will not work

Depends on if his suppressor manufacturer will honor a warranty on a barrel that short. If they will, run the shit out of it

I have a 7.5" 5.56 range toy I've put a few different silencers on it.

I have a slr adjustable gas block. It runs fine.

There are a lot of products out there that will not hold up to the abuse, that short of a barrel will deliver

Depends what you mean by work. If it can handle the short barrel it will work with properly set gas system. Short barrel does equal loud but it will work if it’s designed for that short of a barrel.

My thoughts exactly. Never seen a 10" mono not made from Aluminum.

......Except for those Liberty integrals. But the OP didn't say anything like that.....

To the OP: my personal recommendation when regarding this topic, is NO.
