I listened to a Canadian doctor (I think) on the news this morning. He referred to the people who are doing this crap as a "Noisy, small and dangerous minority." FINALLY... someone who is calling out these freaks for what they are.
He went on to say that Canadians were getting tired of this stuff. Of course, their idea of a revolution will be not stopping the car on the T-Can to pick up the wrapper from an O Henry bar. But eventually, the minority is going to push their luck and get stomped.

The person I think you are referring to is Dr. Jordan Peterson. He touches on a lot of topics that are affecting western society these days including the gender pay gap, #metoo movement, gender neutral pronouns (this is what put him on the map IMO), etc. I would say his main thing is the growing requirements of the PC movement and how that is a dangerous path and how that can lead to authoritarian/totalitarian type governments (ie. tell you what you can and cannot say).
I actually would highly recommend looking him up on youtube and watching some of his lectures or interviews. You can tell he is a highly intelligent person and the way he debates is very satisfying to watch. He manages to keep his cool while the interviewer normally blows their top.
I doubt you hold opinions that are much different than his but the way he supports his arguments is something new.
