sent 2 rifles to SharpShootersSupply for a action job..

both had lapped lugs and the 38spl bolt lift kit done before...
but his "truing job" was still worth it, the bolt lift and ejection is so much better now...

not at all, i did all that before, he re-cut the angles on the caming surface's

its a definite notice, on mine and the other guys gun he did

Recutting the lead in is not a truing job. I had him do a build for me and was not impressed with what I got from him. Had a few problems with it and they would not answer any emails or phone calls to try to make it right. So, I just fixed the problems myself and chalked it up to never have them do anything again. There are a lot of other smiths out there that will do the same thing including a real Truing job to the action for less money and better service. Fred was good for a time, not anymore. Other do it better.

Had a 6 mo. wait on a SSS lam. stock that they said was going to be 8 weeks plus no response from calls & emails. They will not get anymore of my money.

odd... i called a few months back, said what i wanted done and had 2 guns to get done... they gave me a date to send my guns in a month or 2 after that, when it got to that week, i emailed and asked if were were still on track, and she emailed back yes, but is would be a couple weeks that he was finishing up a barrel run...

i said i wasnt in a hurry since the season was over, and sent them... after a month, i email to chk progress, and she emailed me back, and i sent maybe 2 more emails after that, all were responded to with in a day or 2..
