USMC SGT Eddie Ryan needs your help once again. The VA told the family if they relocated closer to Albany Eddie would get all the care he needs, 24 hour home care and therapies. Well guess what, without warning they pulled his 24 hour care! The family is hiring people off the street to help them and doing the overnights themselves. Of course this is putting a huge strain on them. The woman in charge of the VA doesn't even have the common courtesy to return the family's phone calls and their Congressman is trying to help so be especially respectful to his staff. Bottom line is the family is requesting your help once again for this hero and the only thing these people understand is pressure. Time to apply a little and let them know they are being watched and we are engaged in SGT Ryan's care.
What can you do? Please make TWO phone calls and ask them, "why isn't SGT. Eddie Ryan getting the 24 hour homecare he needs and was promised?" Please call Linda Weiss the Medical Center Director at the Albany VA 518-626-5000 (Press 0) and Congressman Owens at 518-743-1059. Be polite but ask them that question.
The Ryan's sold the beautiful house in Ellenville which all his friends in the region and across the country helped them build to accommodate Eddie's special needs in Ellenville. His father Chris (USMC) quit his job and they relocated to the Lake George area. They built a new house, Chris took on a new job and things were going well for a while for Eddie and the family.
