That's the lathe I use and love it. It's quiet, the VS makes it extremely easy to modify your RPM's with a quick turn of a knob. Short spindle bore so you can cut relatively short barrels with a spyder chuck on the back.

The machine comes with a 3ph motor. According to the manufacturer it will run single phase or 3 phase. I run mine on single phase in my garage. I've had zero issues with mine. Made in Taiwan rather than China. Great lathe!
