does anyone have any experiance with the shilen 52gr. .22 benchrest bullets.are they worth the extra money.

That is an impossible question to answer.
As they could be no good in your gun but shoot magic in mine.
Shilen bullets have proved very accurate for some people as far as reports go.
Buy a small amount and see if you like them and if you do buy some more of the same batch.
Tell them what you are doing and request that you get a small amount of a still available larger batch.
If they do indeed produce a very concentric jacket then there is no reason why they should not shoot well.
