I ship all my rifles Next Day Air to and from gunsmiths. That way it sees less peoples hands and moves faster thru the system to me. If you are shipping a $3-4000.00 rifle, what is express shipping and insurance to you? Security is what it is to me.

Insuring any package over $1000 with UPS helps too, it has a different chain of custody when you do, they follow them a little more closely for sure.
And yes, faster services are probably more reliable than ground.
