Dave Neusel, son of the late "Big" Ed Neusel that founded Big Ed's Pizza in Oak Ridge Tennessee (1970) has passed away. The local news said he was at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. Big Ed was a Marine and shot on the rifle team. Every time a big match was held the restaurant was "closed for a private party". All the shooters had the chance to go eat free. I shot with David in the 1970s and 1980s. He was a good person. At one time we were pretty close. But over the years we drifted apart. I saw him 5 or 6 weeks ago after seeing the doctor 2 blocks away we went to "Big Ed's" for lunch. He never failed to come over and say hello when we were there.
Every time we shook hands I was always amazed at the size of his hands. Talk about a real bear paw...! Just like his dad.

Every time we loose a good person like this our whole community is diminished.
Rest easy Dave.
