Sorry if this has been addressed but I googled a good bit and didn't find anything. Is there any reason to no shoot with a can in the rain? I have a 30P-1 and TAB cover for it. Shooting a comp tomorrow and it is looking like it will be a wet one. So, that's the reason for my question. Anyone ever use theirs much in the rain or have a good reason in favor of or against it?

I don't see an issue with it other than you get a little extra "poof" that comes out the end. If there's little to no wind that can potentially be an issue. I shot the PRS Finale at K&M last year suppressed and it was either foggy or raining or both.
That's kinda what I was thinking. Just didn't want to have one of those duh, light bulb type moments in the middle of a stage.
No problem for the suppressor. Water in the chamber can cause high pressure though. I've ruined some Lapua brass at rainy matches.
You probably won't notice any difference in sound. Unless you're shooting one of the 14 or 17 cal 4000fps+ rounds you probably won't notice a big difference in shooting. Seems the little guys pop when they hit raindrops.....Getting a lot of water in the can could cause some issues with can. If there is enough heat in the round to vaporize the water the steam can increase pressure considerably. You shouldn't have any issues....
