Shooting the standard AICS 2.0 Left Handed

Does anyone know if the AICS 2.0 stock cheek piece can be switched to the right side, or if there is any other work around? I'm considering purchasing a rifle that already has one.

I don't need a left-handed bolt version, I simply want to be able to rest my cheek on the opposite of the rifle.

Any input or work-arounds would be great.

As a left handed shooter, I rest my cheek on the right hand side of the rifle.

The AICS stock comes with the raised cheek piece on the left hand side of the rifle (for right handed shooters.)

I'm wondering if there's anyway to swap it around to the other side.

The cheekpiece on the L/H & R/H AICS chassis are the same so there is no difference to the shooter interface L/H or R/H.
However the cheekpiece is fitted to a L/H platform & the adjustment screws are on the left side rather than the right.

Exactly. The chassis is universal. You can easily shoot a RH chassis left-handed as I did for years.

There is no "left-handed cheek riser" or "right-handed cheek riser"...the stock can be used ambi pretty well by both lefties and righties. If you need to "shift" the riser to one side or another, check out the Accu-stack kits which has risers that are reversible if you feel the need to shift your comb to the left or right. Just flip the stack around and it will move over with the comb when the bolts beneath the comb are loosened.

Run a review for "Accu-stack" here on the Hide and you should find some pics that can explain better than I can.
