none of your business
So I had a 6.5 SAUM chambered for my Surgeon XL.

Ejection has always worked great with the 30-375R barrel but with the shorter 6.5 SAUM brass I have to pull the bolt back at a medium speed to get it to eject decent. If I run the bolt fast or slow it leaves cases in the port.

Is there a easy fix?

Thanks

Yeah I just ground it slightly longer until I got the amount of pressure against the side of the action I was looking for. Correct, Remington style.

I don't know if the rim on saum brass is slightly thinner or not, but another fix that would have worked in my situation could have been to bring the extractor claw closer to the bolt face, but that is not as easy a fix.
