Short barrel 224 valkyrie

If you don't have a AR already, sure why not? But really not what the cartidge was designed for. 22-24" barrel let's the heavy bullets move and stay supersonic. Short barrels aren't helping that cause.

For a light bullets, the common twist of 224V (6.5 and 7T) will destroy a lot of bullets at higher velocities. Dunno, seems like a boat out of water, but for 69-77gr, I suppose it would be an okay rifle to achieve a bit more performance than a 223.

Assuming you get a barrel that works out of the box. Some manufacturers haven't quite gotten it working that well yet. So plan on handloading either way.
