I shoot everything suppressed, but not fond of 26” barrels with 7” or longer cans. I’m thinking 20-22” 6.5PRC or 22” 300PRC. I have a new TB338 Ultra I would use for the 300. Has anyone dealt with either of these type rifle barrel length? I wish there was a 7PRC because that’s what I would do for sure in 21-22”

sherman 7SS (short) or 28 Sherman Magnum (long) are basically what a 7PRC would be (but better)

I was in the same boat, had an older savage predator with a 24” barrel and 7” sico omega, way too long for the PA woods. Switched it to a 6.5 PRC 20” CF proof full sendero in a manners EH1 stock, vortex 3-15 razor HD LHT and a rugged radiant. It’s light and compact.

I have a 24" in both and wish I had just gone 20" or 22". at the cost of about 50fps Its more compact and not only fits in the safe better but opens up more options for bags and cases.
