Short cases in DBM's?

Has anyone done a 6 Dasher on a DBM rifle ? "WHY", just interested to see if the short case will feed from a dbm. "WHY" right now I can only get 2 strings** of five 6 CM through my Tactical before the Bbl. gets gets to hot to touch {thinking about getting an IR thermometer to measure temp}
** that's ,shoot 5 rounds in about 4 Min. load, and shoot another 5 in about 4 Min.
Dasher vs 6 CM = less powder,= less heat same FPS

Find a lower node for your 6 cm. Problem solved.

6 BR variants are the post popular cartridges being used in PRS/NRL matches right now. All mag fed from dbm. A lot of times it takes mag spacers and feed lip mods to get the 6 Dasher to feed reliably. My wife runs a Dasher in MDT 6 br 12 round mags from a TL3. They run very well.

The dasher is gonna get hot just like the creed. Choosing a chambering based on the barrel temp increases is a fools errand. If you want it to not get so hot then you’re gonna have to stop shooting so fast.

5 rounds in 4 minutes. Try 10-12 rounds in 90 seconds or less.
