I was wondering what people like or prefer. I have read other places that people do not really like the design of the locking verison on the SB. I am also aware that it is easier to change your turret with the non-locking version and it has a lower profile. So I guess there are + and - to both.

Just looking for some more insight and opinions.

Thx

I have not had experience with any of them but I believe the S&B turrets are pretty stiff on its own. Unless you are really doing rappelling, mountain climbing or other extreme stuff you will not accidentally spin the turrets. I own a Premier scope and have run it in a couple of shoots and minor competitions and have never had an accidental spinning of turrets. If it is not an extra cost I would get Te locking turrets just because it's the same price but I will not pay extra.

I've had both. I prefer the non-locking. The locking ones are very bulky and makes the scope slightly heavier. I've never had an issue with the turret moving accidentally either.
