Re: SHOT SHOW: LEUPOLD MARK 6 1-6 video

Wow cool scopes but is Leupold ready to enter that price range?

Re: SHOT SHOW: LEUPOLD MARK 6 1-6 video

Is it true that Leopold has special pricing for veterans and disabled vets?

Re: SHOT SHOW: LEUPOLD MARK 6 1-6 video

That's Federal LEO only. I was hoping for local. But still sounds like a great program.

Re: SHOT SHOW: LEUPOLD MARK 6 1-6 video

Anyone know roughly what their discount is for Military? I imagine you have to get it directly from them to qual. I am definitely in the market to replace my ACOG/RMR combo. If it's built tough enough and the price is right I am definitely in. Though I am also interested in the Bushnell 1-6.5x and the new SWFA 1-6 offering. Really depends on their price and release sequence and my patience (zero)

I also am very interested in the new Mark 6 3-18x as a replacement for the Premier 3-15x sitting on my REPR. That would be pretty sweet with the H-58...

For the time being anyway...things are rapidly changing and a second Obama term might just wrap mine up at 20 years even.

Re: SHOT SHOW: LEUPOLD MARK 6 1-6 video

Outstanding, thanks Unreconstructed! I did notice a caveat to the discount, it is limited to 3 items per calendar year and only 1 scope. Guess I will have to choose carefully between the 1-6x or 3-18x Mark 6.

Thanks again! -Rob

Re: SHOT SHOW: LEUPOLD MARK 6 1-6 video

Actually, I misread that:

*Qualified individuals are limited to 3 transactions per calendar year. Each transaction may not exceed the following: 1 tactical optic, 1 spotting scope, 1 pair of binoculars, 1 DeltaPoint, 1 rangefinder, 1 flashlight, 5 accessories (including rings and mounts)

Looks like a total of 3 transactions that can each include 1 tactical optic, 1 spotting scope, etc...

I'm liking Leupold better and better these days!!!

Re: SHOT SHOW: LEUPOLD MARK 6 1-6 video

I haven't logged into Promotive in several months until just now. I'm a member of the US Army and Leupold Tactical Pro teams. Unfortunately, I noticed Leupold does not have any discounts currently. The incentive pricing / VIP discount price is the same as regular price on the Promotive web site.
I don't remember the exact amount, but last year the discount was pretty substantial, about 30% off.
If anyone that is a member of Promotive sees any discounts on Leupold, please let everyone know.
I'm interested in seeing the new Leupold Mark 6 scopes.

As for annual limits, every Soldier in your unit is eligible to buy 3 scopes per year...

Re: SHOT SHOW: LEUPOLD MARK 6 1-6 video

I was fortunate enough to handle these Mark 6 scopes at SHOW show, and now I really really want one. This video didn't mention the tool-free rezero/BDC ring swap feature, which is another great design. I'm looking forward to mounting one of these when they're released.

Thanks for sharing the video!

Just logged I am getting 25% or more off on everything. The Mark 8 went down in price quite a bit. Also noticed they now have 35mm rings so the 3-25 should be coming out soon. Leupold more than likely will get everything out pretty fast, I am thinking April at the latest.

Re: SHOT SHOW: LEUPOLD MARK 6 1-6 video

Hope they put dual-purpose or something on this like they did with the MK4 so we don't get ITAR blocking it to us outside the USA.
