SHOT SHOW REPORTS?

Well, now that all of us who went to the SHOT SHOW are back and getting caught up it's time for some reports.
Who saw what that was new, neat, interesting, must have or just cute. This may be the wrong forum for this but what the heck.
The neatest thing I saw was in the Browning booth. A perfect little 5/8 or maybe 3/4 scaled down Colt 1911 in .22 LR. Both a standard slide and a commander version. As one who has an affinity for medium size .22LR handguns (I call them my "tin can" guns and have about a half dozen of them) I am already looking for one of these.
What caught anyone elses eye?

Should have my limited SHOT coverage up Thurs or Fri.

The Remington Gas Piston AR looked REAL nice. So did the RACS, but I am not groovin' on the price tag.

Some neat stuff in the Accuracy International North America booth! Got some good pics once I get them uploaded.

Remington's new Versa Max shotgun really impressed me, simple design, light weight, swings nice.

For an inexpensive 3 gun scope the Burris Fullfield TAC 30 1-4X24 with Ballistic CQ reticle would work well.

CZ / Dan Wesson has 3 new competition / "combat" pistols. Titan is a 10mm, Mayhem is for USPSA limited division, and Havoc is a full on open gun.

Spent a lot of time looking over the optics, we are blessed with several very good choices. Really liked the Premier line, hadn't had an opportunity to handle them before, very nice! Don't hear much about the March scopes, but they are impressive, especially the 1-10 X 24. Recently got to do some comparisons with the Vortex line and was pleasantly surprised. Couldn't ask for nicer guys to deal with. Nightforce's new high speed turrets and zero stop are a welcome improvement, I actually just got one about a month ago, sweet!

Cool thread,I'd like to say did you guys see the Promag/Archangel stuff for the 10/22 that looked like a Hk G36 with the folding stock?Looked cool and they had a total knock -off of a JAE M1a stock that was only like $299 but didn't look as "quality" is the best way to put it,looked nice though.Keep the info coming

AAC AMMO SEEN AS BEST NEW CALIBER AT SHOT. The Outdoor Wire Digital Network today names its editors' choices for 2011 SHOT Show. The "Best New Caliber" went to 300 AAC Blackout ammo.
