I decided to take advantage of the Liberty Optic special. Price was hard to pass up. Besides, I don't need an illuminated reticle. Even though this scope doesn't have zero stop, I looks like I'll sorta have it with my configuration. I used a Warne 20 MOA tactical base and IOR' low rings on my 10FLCP-K. For 175gr SMK's and 168gr A-Max's I'm right near the bottom of my elevation adjustment @ 100 yards. I haven't counted clicks yet, wanted to zero it first, maybe tonight.

This is my first mil/mil scope and I already know I'm going to like it. While zeroing I did all the conversion in my head, inch graduated target, and made my adjustments. Never thought to use reticle to compared POI to POA and adjust accordingly.

Glass is very nice and turrets are a pleasure to use. Clicks are very positive and clearly audible. This combo of scope, mount and rings are very natural and comfortable on this rifle. So far I haven't needed to adjusted my check rest while shooting prone or from a bench.

I am glad to hear you like it I ordered one as well and I can't wait to get it mounted! It is a really good deal I have been wanting one of these for a while.

I had to do it! About a year ago I bought a Savage 10FLCP-K on a whim. The price on Gun Broker was to good to pass up. All I did was break in the barrel - 30 rounds - and clean up the bore with J-B bore compound. It's the most accurate rifle higher caliber rifle I've ever owned. It deserved a far better optic than I had on had. I should be able to wring out all the Savage has to offer. This is going to be fun!

Hey Xshot,

I have been considering that scope. Could you post a pic or two or three. I would like to see what that monster 35MM tube looks like!

I've going out of town so it will be a few days. I'm fine with how the scope looks and sits on my 10FLCP-K. I used the IOR low mounts that came with the purchase. I could probably get the scope a little lower, but I'd really have to jump through some hoops to make that happen. As it is, the hinge on the Butler Creek objective cap won't clear the barrel, if I put it on the bottom of the scope.

Xshot,

Looks awesome, thanks for posting the pics.

I am sold now. I like the large elevation turret with a full 10 Mils per just one rev. Don't really need zero stop with that, hard to get lost on where you are with just 2 full revs up.
