CZ 455 Varmint factory barrel 17 hmr, pillared and bedded the action first.
Checked accuracy using a test rest and CCI, Winchester and Hornady ammo.
Best groups came with the 17 gr ballistic tips from CCI and Hornady.
Further improvement came from bedding the barrel about 3 inches forward of the receiver.
After purchasing a Lilja bull barrel in 17 hmr and further testing, had to shift the barrel
bedding an additional inch further from the receiver to achieve tightest results.
