Had it since about 2002, paid $1000, now they MSRP for $2075. It's in perfect shape, shoots under 1/2moa out to 100yds with Eley Standard. Let it go or keep?

You dont have to pay to keep it, and you ain't gotta shovel shit out from underneath it. If you like it and shoot it once in a while, keep it. If you never shoot it, or dont really care much for it, let it go.

You don't say what caliber the LVT is, maybe I assume 22LR since you said "Eley Standard" but I have no idea if Eley makes ammo in 17 or 22Mag, I suppose they could. Also, what's the wood like?
There's always a market for some of the more spectacular Coopers, but a harder sell for the plains unless priced right. And there's a bigger potential market for 22LR's, but guys who really like 17's or 22Mag's are going to be more enthused for that specific niche.
But if you don't shoot it and it's not an heirloom or family keeper, sell it.

I would buy it in a heart beat if it was a 22mag. I know some will crucify me for saying that but I have ended with more mags than 22's. still have a few 22's but the mag rules the roost here at my house. My sako 22mag spoiled me someting terrible. I had one in 22, it shot excellent, but it has never got used like the mag does. I would like a cooper in 22 mag for the right price. If you do ask what you said I expect it'll go very soon. Nice rifle and I believe I'd keep it if I was you. You never get it replaced for what your asking.
if you sell it, you'll regret it in a few months. Unless you're strapped for cash to pay rent, keep it. If the reason for selling it is to fund another gun...keep it and simply wait how ever long it takes to get the funds.
Yeah, Im going to hang on to it, its too purdy and damn does it shoot, better at 100yds than a lot of centerfire rifles. And 1200 isnt enough.
Good call. There ain't any good blues songs for gun sellers who have to let something go. I can tell you that. Once you think you need/want something and it turns into a pumpkin after you get it, it's hard to get rid of. You just don't have the same enthusiasm for the ones you don't want. These little Coopers shoot fantastic. I've never owned one but, I've gotten to shoot a few of them.

I was in the same boat not too long ago with my Izhmash 22. It's just the basic biathlon trainer that cost around 300 bucks when I got it...maybe in 03/04. If I go to replace that now, it's a $999 retail. There is no way I'll sell that gun...too accurate and easy to shoot, love that toggle bolt- extremely fast cycling.

Have you shot that beautiful Cooper in the last six months? If not, you ought to sell it to me, or better yet, just send it to me. I would keep it exercised and not charge you much for that service.
