Hey all, Bo here.

I am about as new to the sport as one can get having just built my first rifle and taken my first PRS class from Frank/Mike at mile high shooting almost two weeks ago.

I have only been shooting in general for a year now and started with pistols and have since moved on to PRS. My first build is the following:
bought remington 700 magpul with the 5R barrel to start then changed out from there.

barrel/action is the stock remington 5R 700 barrel in 6.5 CM at 22"
KRG chassis and forend
kahels 525i skmr scope
trigger tech trigger
spuhr ring mount
MDT CKYE bipod

I still shoot quite a bit with my 9mm as well trying to learn to be fast and accurate.

I have also taken a liking to reloading and have begun learning that skill set quite a bit. I continue to learn each time I go to the range and also speak with people online and at the ranges.

looking forward to chatting on here!

Bo

my rifle and my most recent trip to zero my new scope. lots to learn still but Frank/Mike were awesome instructors with and excellent mix of humor and seriousness in their training approach.

Thanks guys!

If you're ever down South, we have a monthly matches in Colorado Springs on the second Saturday of the month. NoCo has their match at Pawnee on the same day. Third Sunday of the month is Hoser's 600 yard steel match down in Pueblo. We also have a few PRS/NRL matches throughout the state.

Edit: And just a few hours south, you have Raton and the Sporting Rifle Match on the first Sunday of every month from Feb to Sept https://sportingriflematch.com/
