Show me you 700 5r milspecs in 300 win

What do you want to do with it? Nightforce makes a 40MOA steel base with a recoil lug built in to prevent shearing the screws, if you want to shoot ELR with it, or 20MOA or flat if you don't want to shoot long range. You can put a screw-on muzzle brake on it to cut down on recoil, or if you plan to shoot with a suppressor, you can get a combined muzzle brake and suppressor mount.

I have the same rifle. Its getting a surefire brake/adaptor, a Nightforce 40 MOA scope base, and a Vortex Razor HD2 122MOA scope, atlas bipod, and maybe a 2014 AICS AX stock.

Of course all the bells and whistles depend on how well it wants to shoot with some tuned handloads.

TPS slip cuff
Triad stock pack not pictured

APA Brake is amazing. I'm not recoil sensitive, but I can't say how impressed, I and friends who have shot this thing are, with the APA. With brake, the barrel is 27.5 inches long. Still working up loads, but it has printed 1/2 moa groups at 100 with some factory rounds. I too rolled the dice on a factory 700 and did well. I would have gone with a 30 moa base just for possible ELR shooting scenarios and seriously considered the 24" barrel.

Blessings,

BC
