I'm building a similar rifle now. Surgeon action but went with the .260 for the higher case capacity. Who did yours?

Was wondering where i can purchase a 700 remington reciever? Was looking at building a AICS AX model chambered in .308 norma mag. New to this stuff, any suggestions?

I recently ordered a Stiller tac 300 from the Group buy and also a Jewel Trigger(no hate please) from the group buy and planning on doing a Brux Barrel from Bugholes and putting it all together on an AX chassis this summer.
