Is there a 308 variant AR with a side folding stock besides the SCAR?

FAL paratrooper models can come with a side folding stock.... the ergonomics are a lil bit dated, but people love their fals.

edit: however, the fal isnt exactly an ar variant.

you can get a folding stock for a m1a, probably a FAL, ak.. but those aren't gucci and new and have only been around running fine for a few decades a piece so they must suck

No. As BigJoe mentioned, there are no "new" piston driven .308 platforms on the market. The FAL and the M1A in one of the chassis systems are the only options I can think of.

Anything based even loosely on the AR-10/LR308 operating system will never have a folding stock for obvious reasons.

Didn't they do an FAL in a .260? I thought I saw one once. Thats kind of what I would be looking for.

I do not know, I have never seen one. I am sure if you could get a tech from DSA on the line you might be able to get some info. The couple of times I have talked to a tech over there they seemed to really know FALs.

My 308 Galil folds.... but it's not an AR , heh-heh.
