Rifle Scopes Side or Rear Focus?

I am looking at a SWFA Super Sniper 10x42. It is the best scope for the money that I am willing to spend. Can some here give me pros/cons of using side or rear focus? It will be mounted on a .308.

rear focus-more reliable.

The side focus is the usual culprit in any reports of SS10X's having problems.
