Sidearms & Scatterguns sig 1911 22 vs GSG 22

Re: sig 1911 22 vs GSG 22

Yes
Great little guns and make a good suppressor host.i dont think you can get the sig labeled ones with a rail but gsg does have a railed version

Re: sig 1911 22 vs GSG 22

They are indeed the same gun. I bought the Sig, only because if I decide to sell it down the road it may sell easier having the Sig name.

Mine has ran flawlessly, though I probably only have 200 rounds through it.

If you get either, they take the same magazine, so if you buy spares find the GSG brand. They normally sell cheaper than the Sig branded magazine.

Re: sig 1911 22 vs GSG 22

after 25k+ rounds...i've had great results with my GSG. Broken firing pin, worn out recoil spring, and broken mag base (1 of 3 mags) are my only problems...so that's pretty damn good.

Extras:
changed to flat MSH and retained GSG spring
grip panels..many different sets
recoil spring to something else..can't remember make
steel guide rod
dawson sights front/rear
cerakoted the gun burnt bronze, factory finish sucks
