Sidearms & Scatterguns Sig 1911 compact grips

Ok, heres the deal. I bought my first quality sidearm in a Sig 1911 compact. I want to customize it a bit. Can I buy any 1911 grip or do they have to say compact?

You have to buy them designed/sized for your grip size.

Full size/commander

or

officer/compact

Pretty sure that sums it up.

Check out vz grips if you want non-wood grips. I run the frags on 2 of my 1911s and the carbon fiber grips on my carry 1911. They have great options in terms of ambi cut safety, thickness, color, texture, etc.

+1 for VZ Grips. I know they are now making grips for the Sig 1911 series specifically.

Have a set of Harrison design grips on my Sig Ultra and soon to have a set of Larry Davidson 4x4 on my compact. Just have to order them for the size grip that you have.
