Sidearms & Scatterguns Sig 226 15rd -> 20rd SCT

I'm looking but having no luck - does Sig or anyone else sell just the extended base pad to convert a 15rd magazine to the 20 rd 'SCT' magazine? Is this even an option?

I think you have to buy the 20 round mag. I've never seen just the extended pad.

if you have 18rnd mec-gars, this is all you need.

i am not sure this will work with the 15rnd factory mags. it might make it a 17er. the only difference between the mec-gar 18s and 20s is this base pad. tomorrow afternoon, i will do a parts swap for ya and see if it works.

i just tried taking pics. the lighting in my house sucks. it is like a fucking dungeon. i'll get some pics up tomorrow.



the follower on the 18rnd is shorter in height than the stock 15

the shape of the top of the mag 18er is different as well

the follower/spring assembly is a different shape too




stock 15er mag, 18rnd mec-gar follower/spring assembly = 17

stock 15er mag, +2 base pad and mec-gar 18rnd follower/assembly = 20

stock 15er mag, stock 15er follower/spring and the +2 base = 18

just buy the mec-gar 20rnd for $30! lol
