1 WEEK LEFT: This Target Haunts Me Contest
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I'm looking at getting a set of the sig kilo range finder binos. Specificly the 10 x 42's. Does anyone have any experience with them? and does anyone have an valuable info on the HD and HDX?
I have the older 3k model and it is excellent. It will range off of dirt and foliage out to about 1800 yards. It will get to 2000 in the right conditions. The 6k is now about the same price as what I bought the 3k for a few years ago. I've thought about upgrading so I can get well past 2000 yards, but would rather just spend my $$ on the new 10k. I just don't want to spend that much right now when most of the time I can get close enough to decide whether I want to set a target, then range off the target itself - that gets me to about 2200. For longer ranges, I use GPS coordinates.
We have sold a good number of 6k and 10k, and my experience, and customer feedback is average on the 6K, and very good on the 10K. I have heard any complaints, that were mentioned earlier in this thread, but it happens. There are good number of choices, and price ranges. Personally, I think the 10K hits a sweet spot. You can spend more, or you can spend less.

I had the sig 3k and they would mess up hooking up to my kestrel. Sig took the old pay I gave them $100 and they sent me a new sig 6k hd bino. They are great they connect to kestrel and glass isn't terrible but there not the best but they work. At the nightforce challenge they fell and got stepped on and took my awhile to send them back...... August sometime I finally sent them back to sig and they sent me a brand new pair. I've been very impressed with there customer service it has improved 1000%. The new pair I think actually has better glass and the rangfinder is very fast and I think best on market. I have a kestrel so the sig 10k is to much for me and the style of shooting I do isn't really helpful specially since the sig 6k connect to kestrel if need be. I think for money sig 6k is best on market pound for pound for what you pay
Also I use the outdoors man bino attachment and it works great on tripod best mount I think.
