I also want one, but hesitate to shell out twice as much $$ for one than the MCX pistol (5.56 w/10.5" bbl) I already have. I would really like to find just the complete upper..

They are compact but also heavy for there size.. IMO

I owned one in 300 blk. It was heavy and would tend to jam with cheaper ammo. Ran fine with the brand SIg stuff they had in the store but the cheaper academy stuff not so much. Kind of gimmicky for me. I’d personally tend to steer you to a light weight AR build for a truck gun. Just my opinion. I did like the Mpx better but it’s a 9
