I got offered a sig sauer p225 in a trade and was wondering what the value is. I also noticed that it isn't on sigs website and am curious if it is discontinued and is it a good gun or should I stay away.

It is discontinued, it's a compact version of the fullsize P220.
The surplus ones are called P6's, and depending on condition/extras, probably looking at about 400 bucks trade value.

Really hard to find though, I love the 225. If it is in good shape I would consider it. I only see them every great now and then, I wish they still made it. Good carry gun.

Reselling one will bring a lot of inquiries for paper work, test target, both mags, box...
These are superb pistols. Light reliable and point like a Commander. There lies the value. Sorry I do not still have one.
