Sidearms & Scatterguns Sig Pro holster

Re: Sig Pro holster

Sig Pro is sometimes tough to find mags and holsters for. I pretty much only use the Fobus. If you really want to carry it, look for one of the more custom leather options out there.

Re: Sig Pro holster

There are guys that do custom kydex holsters if that is something you would like. Or, you can make your own. You just need the kydex, some rivets a few pieces of 3/4" 1'x 1', some clamps, foam and a cheap heat gun. You can get all the supplies from knife supply stores online, like USAKnifeMaker.com.

Re: Sig Pro holster

I had a holster made by simply rugged one time for a ruger alaskan 454, I know thats a revolver but they make a holster called a cuda thats an auto pancake holster and I'm telling you it was the best leather I've ever seen. I've owned a ton of holsters custom and production kydex all the way to sharks skin but simply ruggeds leather top notch. They will custom make one for the specs of your pistol.

Re: Sig Pro holster

If you want kydex there is a guy here in my home town that makes them custom his web site is called Aholster I've owned a few of them and they are good qaulity and I think it was Clint Smith even used one in a gun review one time and actually wrote a separate article about the holster at the end of the review.

Re: Sig Pro holster

That would be totally up to you if you like the way it fits in the fobus it probably wouldn't be very expensive to try and make something like that work. Me personally i have never liked how any fobus holster i had fit the gun. Just didnt seem to be as smooth or something, but thats just personal preference.

Re: Sig Pro holster

I'm still a leather holster person myself just seems to ride closer to the body and no hard edges to push or poke my sides. But there again thats all personal preference.

Re: Sig Pro holster

Like i said it was the best leather I've ever seen. I'm pretty sure the auto holsters are called Cudas I've not looked on their website in a while they may even have something new for autos now. And i have no idea if there is any kind of waiting period, I think it took a month or so to get mine.
