I have done searches on both of these products but I still have a question about which to buy. My main objective for the use of these would be using for PRS rifle matches and using on my local range which has steel targets that range out to one mile. Some of these targets are as small as 12 inches at a mile. These wouldn’t be use for hunting or for spotting. I’m looking for a ranging device that would be the most accurate in any conditions. They both link to the Kestrel so that is not a problem with either. I want something that will work pretty much all the time, anytime. Thanks for any input from match shooters that primarily shoot steel or anyone using either to range small steel targets at longer ranges.

Thanks for the replies. After a lot of reading and looking at reviews I think for my application and using at the range I’m a member of I decided to go with the Terrapin X.
