The Sig 716 does indeed take Pmags, as far as the DPMS upper being compatible, i have not a clue..

The manual for my Sig 716 showed it had a spring, so I called Sig, they told me the first run of the rifles (not ones sold) had a firing pin spring. The gentleman on the phone told me it was determined to be not needed and abandoned with later models.
As to the DPMS upper and 716 Lower? My DPMS 6.5 creedmoore upper will NOT fit on my LMT or my 716 lower.
My 716 takes P-mags.
