Sight options...

So I'm looking for sight options for my flat top M4 Carbine AR.

I have a deal on a BNIB Colt Carry handle. $45

Or Im heading to my local store. And picking up some MagPul flip iron sites. Around $60

In detail Im not planning on running either of these for too long. I plan on getting Optics and moving to troy flips.

I love the look of the M4 standard carbine with carry handle but at the same time I know they suck for CQB. I think thats a pretty fair price if they are BNIB like he said it was.

I like the flips because when I get my optics they will still work until I can buy my troy sites. I like the flip sites from mag pul but they arent my fav.

What would you guys opt for??

Don't know who told you irons suck for CQB but they don't

I plan on using it for inside of 75 yards maybe 5 rounds to 200 yards but not often.

I'm assuming you're holding off on the Troys for now due to budget.

Why buy twice when you can buy once? Wait until you can afford the Troy.

Otherwise, $45 for a Colt carrying handle with sights is a real decent deal and a good strong fallback for the future too.

Well im going out shooting in a month and after I get it built up i have a few bills to pay.. So I need some sort of sites for the trip..

Reason why I'm asking carry handle or Magpul flip sites..

Ive only shot a buddies AR with an eotec and have never used a carry handle or flip site so I don't know the draw backs or pros to either just heard iron sites aren't best for CQB but i don't know how great flip sites are for CQB either.. Ive heard good and bad about the mag pul flips but ive never heard anyone talk about carry handles because everyone I know goes right to optics

If you guys had to pick right now and be stuck with it for 2 months which would you choose?

I would defiantly go with flips if they were the same price but I'm just wondering if that $40 carry handle is a non pass upable offer. Since they are both being replaced when I get some more $$

Do you have a fixed front sight? If you don't, then the carry handle will be next to useless without buying a front sight as well.
