So I am doing a complete rebuild on my Springfield 1911. As such the sights are getting replaced. I already have a tool for the front sight but I don't have a pusher for the rear sights. Who makes a good tool for this?

MGW makes brand specific pushers for just about every gun.
I have one for Sig and it works great but at $100 to $140 I didn't want to have multiple tools.
The BJ Machine P400 universal pusher is what I got for the rest.
It covers a lot of ground and only one purchase/tool.
It is a little harder to use but nor too bad.

For a one time use why bother? Pay a 'Smith or get a nylon tipped punch

For any number or reasons. It is always better to have the right tool for the job, I might need to swap some sights out in the future, because I like doing things myself. Take your pick. It was a simple question. If you didn't care to answer it why bother?

I was on a pusher kick once and got help....Had several different smiths tell me its a waste. Delrin and brass drifts have worked everytime...my 2 cents.
