Rifle Scopes Sightron SIII 16x vs SS 16x

How does the Sightron compare to the SS in low light conditions? The SS16 washes out so I have been told. For another $100 the Sightron 16 or 20 can be bought.

I would prefer an SIII624x50lr scope but $750 is pretty steep. Thanks.

The SIII variable scopes have much better glass than the 16x SS. I've heard The fixed power SIIIs having inferior glass to the variables for some reason.

I would go SWFA SS over Sightron due to the mil reticle and mil knobs.

I've got a Sightron SIII, although not the one you're considering. Imho, it is the best scope at its price point I've looked through. A lot of people have compared them to NF in terms of glass quality, and I would agree. I'd go Sightron.
