I haven't used that model. I will say the target dot reticule is amazing for target shooting (go figure). I wouldn't worry about it covering too much of a target.

The Sightron catalog list this as New 2011 model. I'll have one in my hands tomorrow which will be mounted on a 5R milspec. They are available from a number of vendors. If you have troubles, I may be able to help out.

You're right, the older one had 1/4 MOA clicks.
There's a nice 10-50x60mm with 1/8 MOA clicks for sale in the Optics Forum right now.

Hi Paul, I would very much appreciate hearing your impressions when you receive it. I am about ready to pull the trigger. I get dealer pricing at Midway but noted this particular model has not shown up in their catalog quite yet.
