Has anybody heard a report on availability they think is reliable? I'm loooking for 30mm, med., matte finish in what they call standard mt. That translates to the bases with rear windage adjustment.

None of my usual suspects have them and when I spoke to Burris anout six weeks ago they said "soon."

Not sure if availability is any better, but have you considered their double-dovetail setup instead? That second dovetail mount in the rear is SO much stronger than their standard mount.

The "zee" rings are a weaver mount. I have a set of those in 1" and love them. Those inserts make up for some shoddy drilling of holes in the receiver. And also you can get the offset inserts so that it's like having a canted base. (never tried it, but I know people who have). I also have some signature rings in 1" on my .300 WBY hunting rifle. Those ones are the "standard" mount. Any mounting system you choose, you'll like the rings.

Thanks for the recommendations on the double dovetail rings. I have a set of those sitting around somewhere and I should check and see if I can get the correct bases for my application.
