I took this test 15 years ago during a training seminar at work. He said all of the Presidents in recent history took this test and he shared their results with us. I remember the instructor said that 50/50 on each is ideal for a manager. But, Jimmy Carter scored 50/50, so their theories lost a lot of credibility with me.

ISTJ here too.

Thing is, many here spoke prior of being on "lists" monitored by the gov't and all that. If you were to think about it, these types of tests are put out by the FBI, and thinly veiled as some sort of 'fun' thing. With their only purpose to farm the populace looking for psychopaths and sociopaths so that the FBI and DHS can tabulate a list of suspects in ongoing investigations.

But the favored and disfavored careers are almost exactly the opposite for me.

Favored careers: data analyst, scientist, researcher, engineer, financial planner, statistician, office worker, government employee, lab technician, nuclear engineer, office manager, biomedical engineer, account manager, ceo, investment banker, analyst, academic, systems analyst, pharmacy technician, network admin, genetics researcher, research assistant, strategist.

Disfavored careers: entertainer, artist, filmmaker, musician, actor, fashion desinger, singer, music journalist, comedian, massage therapist, photographer, dj, model, author, bartender, painter, school counselor.

Weird.

These questions left me asking more questions. I don't believe in pigeon holing peoples potential and that everyone fits in some f^#king box. They tested us at work like this once and I despised the whole thing. I think I was an Emotional Driver whatever the hell that means. In the words of Hannibal Lecter: "You would try to disect me with this blunt tool?" "A census taker tried to test me once, I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti."

INFP "Questor", sounds like I may be good for your choleterol.
