F T/R Competition Sinclair bipod on savage f/tr

I am having a little trouble attaching the Sinclair 3rd generation f-class bipod to my savage f/tr rifle. I think the major problem might be the stock adapter that it came with and I will probably replace it, but it has more wiggle in it than I was hoping for. Has anyone had this same problem with the Sinclair bipods?

I had the same problem when I purchased mine. I ended up purchasing a bipod adapter from Sinclairs that worked great. There are a variety of them out there that folks have had great success with.
