Im not even sure of a outside neck cutter capable of cutting the .458 socom.
Or am i just missing it. No option for 21$t, hence I emailed to find out.
It is an ocd thing for sole completeness in case prep for me. Ive heard two different theories of why and why not but i have a little science mentality that knows the truth. Haha

I would only personally bother neck turning if the brass wont chamber because the neck thickness causes the loaded diameter to not fit in the chamber neck.... As you fire and size the brass flows towards the neck and I think if you FL bushing size then expand to the same size each time it will be pretty damn uniform. .0005 difference isn't really readable to most our gauges we buy anyways.

See my theory is a case "skimmed" true inside and out is going to give near-perfect grab and tension. Im a
close-as-possible tolerance kinda ocd. Both in mechanical and carpentry or tattooing or piercing. I wear many hats but they all will fail me if not I am satisfied. No im not really a maniac or press my clothes but if i can control concentricity, damnit thats my responsibility 😂

Yep i wish. I have been thinking about that exact thing not to mention all the other fun. Thats a big rabbit hole. Dont make me pull the trigger. Lol
How much? I have been restraining myself from looking. Haha

Oh I wouldn't buy a small lathe for any less than a grand probably. The cheap ones would just piss me off cause I couldn't do shit. I need a mill personally so I can start speeding up woodwork like magwells and action beds etc. Have a ton of black walnut up here and am gonna start making custom BR stocks.
