what year and model 92 came single action with a slide mounted frame. how hard are they to find? and about what price range?

Are you talking about the steel-1 and or combats and stocks? If so any of em in a 9mm will be very hard to find with the combat (a true combat not a homemade job) being just about impossible to find in any condition. i had both the stock (which is the baby brother to the combat in both 92 and 96. I had a real 96 Combat also a steel one in .40. In addition to the Billie and GSD these are probably the finest handguns Beretta ever put out. I can't imagine why they discontinued them.
