Single Shot .338 Lapua Imp

Looking to build a no holds barred .338 Lapua Improved and trying to decide on an action. This will be a single shot only rifle since COAL will exceed CIP magazine length, and I want the rigidity of a single shot receiver. Right now the Surgeon XL single shot is at the top of my list, but I want to know what else I should be considering. If you were selecting the best action available for a Lapua based cartridge, what would you choose?

Built mine on a Lawton, but they are no more. Might be able to find one used, price should be cheap. No issues with mine and it’s about 10 years or so old.

My buddy is doing the exact same cartridge. He decided on a Barnard single shot from New Zealand. He is very impressed so far.
