Does anyone have experience with one of these yet? I'm looking at the Sionics as an alternative to the SOLGW L89, and curious how the camming mechanism compares to the wedge-lock. Also trying to determine best rail length for use with a can on a 16" bbl.

I can’t speak on what the best size for a can would be, but in my opinion I would look at the below expo arms rail, the OEM for these is Zev and they’re normally well over $200 and you can get the zev/expo for $160. Similar in concept to the SOLGW L89 wedge lock. Hodge defense and Icon also have similar rails to the SOLGW (zev is probably the OEM for all 3).

Just call Sionics and ask them your questions. I have several of their uppers and complete rifles and have never had a problem with any of their products. They also sell suppressors so they should know what length of handguard will work for you. Good bunch of guys, they've always picked up the phone when I call.
